This was our first stop after landing in Seattle and we were super interested in seeing how Mexican food would taste here. We were very pleasantly surprised because it tasted soooo good! We shared birria mulitas and a carne asada quesadilla. They were very large portions and the meat was seasoned very well. I will say they were a bit greasy, but that is to be expected lol
Not just another Mexican place. Birrieria La Santa provides superbly prepared food using fresh ingredients. It's our go-to take out because its consistently great! Someday we will actually sit down in the restaurant. Highly recommended!
The CALDO DE RES! Omg. I had to get some homemade tortillas for that. Sooooo savory. The spice was kicking and I was receiving every blow with satisfaction. The warmth and love that goes into this dish. My goodness it's something to experience! I'd recommend just taking it home as the restaurant is just an airstream in front of what looks to be a mechanics spot. Take it to go or have it in the car but I will warn-- you it gets messy in the car (believe me I've tried). Try the Frescas!
Finally broke down and had my first birria experience. Wanted to make sure it wasn't just a passing fad. After my experience, I'm kicking myself for being such an ass. Nevertheless, I'm really glad my first birria meal was at La Santa. From the smiling and friendly server to all the delicious food, it was great. Tried a queso birria taco, burrito, crunchwrap, and a side of consomme. Everything was made to order so super fresh and delicious. My only wish is that there was some crema or sour cream in the crunchwrap to add some zing. I only had caesar dressing at home, but I added some and it was fire. Highly recommend La Santa!
Best Mexican food I've had anywhere around here. Check your orders tho. Have had multiple items omitted from mobile orders.
